Attraction Description
The Joseph L. Popp, Jr. Butterfly Conservatory is a 3,000 sq. ft. indoor tropical garden located in historic Oneonta, NY. We exhibit various species of tropical birds and reptiles year-round, and butterflies during the warmer months of spring, summer and fall. Our aim is to introduce our visitors to the wonderment and to the spectacular biodiversity of the natural world and our exhibit includes invertebrates, fish, reptiles, and various species of beautiful tropical birds among others. It is a fantastic family activity and learning experience for all ages!
